join the bike month challenge

Welcome to Bike Everywhere Month at the University of Washington. Whether you are a seasoned cyclist or haven’t been on a bicycle in years, this is the time to “come” together and celebrate biking.

Register for the Bike Everywhere Challenge

Your bike ride doesn’t have to be a part of your commute or even to campus. Consider riding to your next errand, the grocery store, your favorite local business, or to the park. If you need a break while teleworking, consider working in a “fake commute” ride into your daily routine to get in some exercise and to enjoy time outside.

May 17 - Bike to Work/Campus Day

UW is hosting a Celebration Station on Ride Everywhere Day on from 7:30-10 a.m. on Friday, May 17, with snacks and give-aways for participating cyclists. The UW Transportation Services Station will be located on the Burke Gilman Trail, just southwest of the Life Sciences building.

  • For a list of all participating Celebration Stations in the Seattle area, or other events for Bike Everywhere Month, visit the Cascade Bicycle Club website.

Don’t have a team to join?

Consider creating a team with your peers and colleagues. Who better to build community and camaraderie with than your fellow Zoom buddies or those that are going to the same place on campus?
